10 years ago today, Katie Crutchfield (Waxahatchee) released "American Weekend" which is one of my favorite albums of all time. The songs on it have stuck with me for all 10 years since I first listened and it's one of my go-to comfort albums because these songs still resonate so much with me. It's one of the most intimate and confessional albums ever made and it still has such a strong emotional impact on me. "Bathtub" is one of my favorite songs ever written and I recorded this cover a few months ago simply because I needed to sing it, but today seemed like as good a day as ever to put it out into the world. <3
